sean and i went backpacking for a couple of days in the yosemite wilderness. it was a big deal for me, only my second backpacking trip ever. being a city girl out in the woods is a little scary at times, but we were rewarded with incredible views and a sense of quiet peace at our campsite. sean even taught me how to use a compass and read a topographical map, but i don't think i'll be trying those skills on my own anytime soon.
