3. sent camera away to be fixed.
4. got camera back.

i'm back! took a little blog break, and then i spent a week at a workshop in maine learning about digital photography and taking pictures. it was great, i now understand the manual settings on my camera, including a lot of photography basics that i somehow never got a handle on until now. just in time to take pictures of all of the lovely blossoms that are exploding around northampton...
