we did have fun dyeing easter eggs last sunday.

we had a great time watching the lineup in naragansett last weekend... the waves were pretty close to shore, which made for a good show.

east coast surfing

on saturday we took a day trip to naragansett, rhode island, one of the good east coast surfing spots. sean went out for an icy but wave filled surf session while i stayed on the beach - i think sean was satisfied with his ocean fix, and i had a great time checking out the beach and taking pictures. we also had delicious homemade ice cream and a wonderful visit with jason and zazie on the way home...

my art studio is in the building of the former united elastic co. there is a lot of history in all of the peeling paint! i'd like to find out more about the textile history of the area...
