i was doing internet research on scarabs (the other kind) and came across this adorable scout scarab from the 30's.

i have been doing some block printing for a new project. i love how the ink looks before i roll it out to print. i learned block printing back in college, and have picked up a few very helpful tips for printing on fabrics from lena corwin's lovely book printing by hand. thanks, lena!
